Purpose of the BCISD Staff Hall of Honor Program

Inspiring future generations by highlighting the achievements of past or present staff members who have created a legacy at BCISD. 

The BCISD Staff Hall of Honor is a program designed to honor and celebrate BCISD staff members who have dedicated decades of their professional careers to Bay City ISD and to the success of its students. Nominees are to be selected prior to and honored at the BCISD Employee Appreciation Banquet each year.

Criteria

  • At least 30 years of service in education 
  • At least 20 Years of service with the district

Other Criteria

  • Must be nominated.
  • Can be a current employee, retired, or deceased.
  • Documented record of community service or extracurricular support
  • Documented Leadership experience: Committee service, Department Chair, Mentor, or Professional presentations.

Nomination forms are available online at Communications / BCISD Staff Hall of Honor (bcblackcats.net)  at the Communications Department subsite, or may be picked up at the Bay City ISD Administration Building reception desk or the BCISD Communications Dept at 520 7th Street, Bay City, TX 77414.  Forms may also be requested by calling the Communications Dept at 979-401-1010, or by emailing [email protected]. Forms can be submitted via email to [email protected] or dropped off/mailed to the BCISD Administration Building: 520 7th Street, Bay City, TX 77414. 

The committee is not responsible for nominations lost in the mail, delivered to the wrong location, not legible, missing pertinent information, or those received after the nominating deadline.
