An Opportunity for Every Child

Special Education provides a continuum of child-centered and supportive services combined to meet the needs of eligible students with disabilities ages birth through 21 years.

• Students with disabilities have the opportunity to participate in an education that is designed to meet their individual needs.
• Students are served in an educational environment that meets their educational needs.
• The goal is to provide students with valuable educational experiences, which in turn lead to preparation for a lifetime of meaningful living.
Goals:

1. Maximize the effectiveness of specialized programs, whether inclusive or specialized, on the campus
2. Maintain a high standard of compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
3. Focus on building collaborative relationships with students, parents, campus staff, and within our own team
4. Focus on data-driven processes to improve student outcomes
5. Promote independent and functional living in society for our students
